Sustainability is an intrinsic aspect of SCS's work.

Steel is the foundation of SCS’s work, and perfectly represents the idea that sustainability should permeate all our activities and projects. The steel we use has been recycled (99%), and constitutes a clear example of a material according with the principles of the Circular Economy.

At SCS we not only seek to recycle material, but also favour reuse. We design structures with the maximum possible bolting, facilitating their subsequent reuse or recycling. Through the use of steel as the main (but not only) material in our projects, we contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally responsible construction model.

A clear example of the internalization of the concepts of sustainability in our procedures is the incorporation of the ISO14001 standard as a methodology governing our work, and our observance of the strictest LEED and BREAM standards on numerous projects.
